How do I invite friends to a trip?
Open the trip and choose Group or Share, then use Invite friends, Invite by email, or Share invite link and paste it into any group chat. Friends already on TripsCircle also get a notification.
What is the difference between an invite and a trip link?
An invite brings someone into the trip: they can edit the plan, vote in polls, chat, split costs, and see live locations if they are shared. A trip link only shows the trip as a read-only page with the cover, dates, route, and highlights.
Do people need the app to open a shared trip?
No. Shared trip links open in any web browser without an account. Invite links also open in the browser, showing the trip, the crew, and the first stops, then hand off to the App Store so the person can join in the app.
Does opening an invite link join the trip automatically?
No. Opening an invitation page never accepts anything on its own. The person sees who invited them and what the trip looks like, then decides whether to join.
What stays private on a shared trip page?
Only the details selected for publication appear. Private notes, expenses, exact live locations, account details, and payment information are left out.
Can I stop sharing a trip?
Yes. Revoke the public link from TripsCircle at any time. The trip itself stays exactly as it was, and you can share a fresh link later.
